DAY ONE: 12/4/2018 / DZIEŃ PIERWSZY: 12 kwietnia 2018

The Katowice meeting officially started at 9.30 when the guest teachers arrived at the Nicholas Copernicus school. They were greeted first by Julia and Remigiusz, representatives of the students, and then by the head teacher and other teachers.

First, there was a long walk around the school, meeting teachers and students, seeing them at work and at breaks. The most important part of the day was an Erasmus conference, during which a lot of important decisions were made.

In the evening, guests and hosts met in a regional restaurant for a sample of Polish and Silesian traditional food.

Spotkanie oficjalnie rozpoczęło się o godzinie 9.30, kiedy przybyłych do szkoły gości powitała najpierw reprezentacja uczniów – Julia i Remigiusz z klasy 5b, a potem dyrekcja i inni nauczyciele.

Najpierw nauczyciele ze szkół partnerskich wybrali się na długi spacer po szkole – odwiedzili klasy i boiska, spotkali się z uczniami, wysłuchali piosenek. Ale najważniejszym punktem dnia była konferencja Erasmusa, w czasie której podjęto wiele ważnych decyzji i poczyniono ustalenia na kolejne miesiące naszej współpracy.

Wieczorem, goście i gospodarze spotkali się w regionalnej restauracji, by wspólnie spróbować różnych potraw kuchni polskiej i śląskiej.
