Katowice 2017
Monday 27th March
On Monday the guests and their hosts visited an old miners' residential district called Nikiszowiec. They performed a set of specially prepared tasks, which led them to discovering interesting facts about the Silesian miners' everyday lives.









































Tuesday 28th March
On Tuesday the guest teachers and students visited the Wieliczka Salt Mine, one of UNESCO heritage sites, and the Wawel Castle in Cracow. They also had some time to walk around the Craców Old Town and shop for souvenirs!




Wednsday 29th March
On Wednesday all students (Polish and guests) together with their teachers spent all day sightseeing in Katowice and getting to know the town's industrial past. At the end of the day they took part in a show of artistic black-smithing.












































Thursday 30th March
On Thursday guest students and teachers took part in a trip to the Guido Coal Mine and in the afternoon everyone met for a farewell party at school.
There was food prepared by the Polish teachers and parents and there was a lot of fun for the kids!
