FESTIVAL OF STEEL

The Festival of Steel was held at Szkoła Podstawowa nr 34 im. Mikołaja Kopernika in Katowice, Poland, on 31st March 2017.
In addition to the students of the Polish school, guests from all partner countries took part: Almina from Turkey, Dimitr and Simeon from Bulgaria, Shauna and Leah from Ireland and Beatriz and Mariana from Portugal.
All the students took part in steel art workhops, during which they produced a variety of objects realted to the Earth and Space from steel-like products: aluminium foil, silvery tissue paper, wire, bolts and nuts and many more. They also took part in the Industry Presentations, during which the Polish students showed and discussed their research results in the area of the 16th and 17th century industry.
